Vacuuming is one of those chores that have been assigned to my kids as they became old enough. When Supah Stah got old enough to take on other responsibilities, Sweet Pea took over and when she was old enough, the baby graduated to the daily mucking out cleaning of the Zoo. I've had kids vacuuming for almost a decade. You hear odd things when children vacuum and I had an answer for every one of 'em.
Yes, it does need to be done every day.
No, the vacuum is not broken.
Yes, the bag does need to be changed.
No, it's not okay that the vacuum is smoking.
Yes, you really have to pick socks up before you vacuum.
No, the kitty really doesn't like it when you suck his tail up like that.
Yes, the look on his face was kind of funny.
I thought I'd heard it all. WRONG! This weekend, I was stunned stupid. I actually didn't know what to say - perhaps you can understand this is a rare occurance. My oldest daughter is gonna be a helluva parent though.
Sugah Pie: "Hey Mum! Look...when you put the end of the hose over your nose, it will suck all the snot out."
Sweet Pea: "That's disgusting. You're such a redneck."

I don't know what to say....maybe because I am laughing too hard!lol. Yep, it is lovely when the offspring get old enough to do chores. Had my girls out there shoveling snow yesterday. Even my 4 yr old was helping. I sat and watched them from the warm and lovely living room! Kinda like that coffee commercial they used to play.lol. I am a firm believer in "Use your children wisely"....V :0)
can I borrow the kid who sucked up the cat tail?....I have a bit of a mess here...HEY, I told'em....send me the $5 in unmarked bills by Tuesday or the cat got whacked...did they listen????? obviously NOT!!!
I can't get by the fact that you vacuum EVERY DAY! What do you do on that floor????
I vaccuum downstairs everyday. Kids cart food and crumbs everywhere, even though they know they aren't allowed to leave the table.
Central vac is faster than easier than a broom.
