K-Bear just brought Rex home (thanx, again, K : ) He was directing traffic...by snoozing in the middle of the road....again.
Saturday, Manimal took Roxy with him on a drive. He stopped at the gas station to take her behind the building for a pee break. I guess she decided since the door was open, she'd trot into the store instead, and how lucky for her! Right there on the floor, served in buckets, was a rawhide buffet. Yum. She helped herself and Manimal paid.
By now, I'm sure you're thinking leashes would keep the inmates under control.

Not so.
Last week, I learned K-Bear's mother was parked in her driveway while they chatted. She was driving home and one block down, a little head popped up in the backseat and "Meeeooowwed." Max the Stowaway.
I think I'm just gonna lay chickenwire over the whole damn yard.

Roxy's such a smart girl. She knows what she wants, takes it and leaves it to the man to pay.
As for Max ... what about this surprises you? You KNOW he loves car trips.

The really amusing part is that when I tried to bring him off the centre line, he BARKED at me!! He seemed upset that I was rescuing him. That critter needs therapy!
Hope all the animals in your menagerie, human and non are feeling energetic and happy!!! You're in my thoughts ... one of these fine days we're going to pull off a meeting of more than minds. Take care :)
I read this on a pet rescue forum... You'll have no trouble getting in...
There is an Indian legend.....When a human dies there is a bridge he must cross to enter into heaven. At the head of that bridge waits every animal he encountered during his lifetime. The animals ....decide which humans may cross the bridge...and which are turned away.
