Okay, I should have written about it immediately, providing as much detail as I did when the Blazer croaked. That only seems fair, right? Well, I had some nasty-ass virus thing happening and just didn't feel like it. I was also mildly peeved at the universe - who exactly was it that ordered the first real touch of winter we've seen for the same day I get my new wheels? A freakin' ice storm no less. Very inconsiderate. So, are we all on the same page? Life's not fair, I'll blog when I want to, get over it, yadda, yadda, yadda. ; )
Now then...Manimal delivered my shiny, red '03 Chev Cavalier last night, and I can't even tell ya how great it feels to be driving a standard again. Just like riding a bicycle, baby, only more power! *deeply contented sigh, accompanied by flashbacks of the Eagle Talon Turbo*
So ... who wants to take bets on how long it'll take me to get a speeding ticket? : )

has 15 minutes passed? lol jokes. Seriously though I know someone who has a turbo kit for that cavalier. It would be faster than the talon. :)

OMG...you are my soul sista, I am telling you! R&R, I am not shitting you. I had a 1992 White Eagle Talon, 5speed manual. I LOVED that car!!! I had the best summer of my life after I bought it! I also loved pulling up to red lights right next to a car of guys, with them checking the car out and shaking their heads, as if a "girl" would know how to drive the car and do it justice. I couldn't tell ya how many rubber tracks I left and how many of those guys I left in my dust!lol. I had that car till 1998. By then I had Peyton, and trying to get a carseat into the back just wasn't going to happen...sigh. Ok, now I want a new Mustang...maybe before dh leaves Ford.....I am thinking about renting one for the VB op! How cool would that be? Whoohoo....we are gonna have us some fun!....V
Totally off topic but I found the books I told you about: Blondes Have More Felons (STARRING a Walk-On by Brenda), a book by Ed Gaffney and a book by Diana Love Snell -- two other authors that were at Hotlanta ... Ed's is Premeditated Murder, Snell's is Worth Every Risk: just let me know :)
So jealous!!! We desperately need a new one - or I should say a newer used one. :) Hopefully, by summer we will. Enjoy it!!!
